RACE WEEK IS FINALLY HERE! Welcome to the 5th Annual Biofreeze Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K/10K and Kids Fun Run Presented by LADWP, benefiting the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and our three pillars: Sports + Recreation, Education + Literacy and Health + Wellness. We have a fantastic race planned, complete with amazing views of Dodger Stadium and Downtown Los Angeles, a cool-down run around the Dodger Stadium warning track and guest appearances by Dodger Alumni! Registration is NOT available online and will NOT be available at packet pick-up or on Race Day.
PARTICIPANT PACKET PICK-UP
All participants are required to pick up race packets during scheduled Packet Pick-Up hours.
All participants are required to PICK UP THEIR OWN packet.
Individuals WILL NOT be allowed to pick up packets on behalf of others. This includes friends and family members.
Only parents/guardians can pick up packets for their children under the age of 18.
You MUST bring a valid photo ID to receive your packet.
For the safety of all runners, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS made to these rules. Please plan accordingly.

DYNAMIC BIB ASSIGNMENT (NEW FOR 2018!)
All race bibs will be issued by Dynamic Bib Assignment. This means bib numbers will NOT be predetermined and sent to you in advance of the run but instead issued to you when you pick up your packet. There will be several lines allocated to distributing bibs and timing chips. As participants enter the packet pick-up area, they can approach any of the bib assignment tables, give their name, confirm their information, and receive a bib from a volunteer. All bibs will include a timing chip. Please note – Kids Fun Run bibs will NOT include a timing chip.
The deadline to switch your race distance online has passed. If you would like to switch your race distance you can do so by visiting the Solutions Booth during scheduled Packet Pick-up hours. If you are switching from the 5K to the 10K, you will be responsible for paying the difference in fees as well as a $2.00 transfer fee. If you would like to switch from the 10K to the 5K, you will not be refunded the difference in price. Note that since this race is Sold Out, switching from the Kids Fun Run to the 5K or 10K will not be permitted.
KIDS FUN RUN
Kids 12 and under currently registered for the Kids Fun Run will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive their packet. Their packets will also be available during the above scheduled Packet Pick-Up hours. Kids Fun Run packets will not be released to any child with a school ID, a parent must be present with their own valid ID. When arriving at Packet Pick-Up, please visit the line marked “KIDS FUN RUN”. Kids Fun Run packets will include the following: Bib # (no timing chip), Dodgers Tech Shirt and Bobblehead. A Finisher Medal will be given out after the child has crossed the finish line.
If you registered as a Virtual Runner, you can run your 5K or 10K anywhere, at your own pace, in your own time. Your packet will be mailed to the address on your registration 1-2 weeks AFTER race day. Your packet will include the following: Bib #, Dodgers Tech Shirt, Finisher Medal and Bobblehead. Your packets WILL NOT be available during the above scheduled packet pick-up hours. Further, if you are a registered Virtual Runner we cannot change your registration to be physically present on race day. Have a great Run!
WATCH DODGERS VS GIANTS ON DODGER VISION!! On Saturday, Sept. 29 we will be showing the Dodgers vs. Giants game on Dodger Vision. Game time is 1:10 pm. The Top Deck seating area, which is located next to packet pick-up, will be open to watch the game. The concession stands will be open so you can get your Dodger Dog and other tasty treats. Additionally, the Top of the Park Dodger Team Store will also be open. All 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run runners who show their race bib will get 20% OFF select merchandise. Come join us and cheer on your Dodgers!!
DIRECTIONS TO DODGER STADIUM
Many of the access gates that you may be familiar with at Dodger Stadium will be closed on race day. The only entrances open on race day will be Sunset Gate A off of Vin Scully Ave and Downtown Gate E off of Stadium Way/110. These two Auto Gates open at 6:00 AM. Please be aware that due to the 10K course in Elysian Park, roads will be closed through Elysian Park from 5:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Do not use the Stadium Way exit off the 5 Freeway to get to Dodger Stadium.
Participants MUST enter through the Sunset Gate A off of Vin Scully Ave, as this will be the only gate open on this day. Please visit Dodgers.com for directions to Sunset Gate A.
RACE DAY PARKING
Race participants and their friends and families will have access to FREE parking in Dodger Stadium parking lots. Parking attendants will direct you to park once you enter through the gate. Parking lots will open at 6:00 AM. The start and finish lines will be just beyond the centerfield area of Dodger Stadium.
We ask that all runners line up according to their estimated PACE time. New this year, we will be implementing a “Wave Start” for the 5k Only. Slower runners in the back and faster/elite runners in the front. If you plan on running with a stroller, please line up towards the back of the start line corral. If you plan to walk, please line up at the back of the start line corral. This is for the safety of all runners.
NO Dogs or Pets, except for service animals will be allowed on the course.

Gear Check will NOT be provided for this run. We ask that you leave any personal items and articles of warm up clothing in your vehicle. Please plan accordingly.
Spectators will be allowed to watch runners along the race route as well as inside Dodger Stadium to watch the cool-down lap around the warning track. Friends and family must remain in the Left Field Pavilion stands.
Our main EXPO will take place on Sunday (RACE DAY) in Lot G, but we will also have a smaller expo on Saturday during Packet Pick-Up at Top of the Park. We will have numerous vendors providing food samples, selling items and so much more, including our event weekend sponsor Biofreeze!

At the finish line, all runners will receive water courtesy of Dasani and fresh fruit courtesy of Melissa’s Produce!
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is partnering with KB Collections on a silent auction to include autographed entertainment and sports memorabilia. Auction begins on Saturday during Packet Pick Up and will end on Sunday during the EXPO around 10:30 a.m.
RACE DAY CONCESSIONS
On Race Day, the concession stand under Left Field Pavilion will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. where you can purchase the following items:

AWARDS & RESULTS
All participants of the Biofreeze Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K/ 10K Run and Kids Fun Run presented by LADWP will receive a Dodger medal upon completion of the run.
Awards will be awarded to Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers in the 10K and 5K and 3 deep in the following divisions for Males and Females for both races: 13 & under, 14 -18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-75 and 76 & above.
Winners must be present at the finish line to receive their prize. Awards not claimed at the finish line will not be mailed.
Official results will be posted on the race website within 24hours.
